We filmed and edited the first video. It went super well and was a good experience for me and my partners to get to know some of our peers around the school. The editing process was time consuming, but the video ended up looking really nice. We still have another video to edit and plan on filming more soon. Our next step in the process is to get the video approved by the students parents before we are able to show it to others. After consent is given, we can continue to play our part in spreading disability awareness.
We finally got to start filming our videos! Mr. Large had a nice camera in the storage room that we used to film. On Wednesday, we practiced with the camera and Thursday was the day that we started filming. We filmed our videos in the sensory room. The sensory room is painted light blue and has lots of couches and different thing to help give students with disabilities a break when they need it. We filmed in here because we thought it would be a comfortable environment for them. We figured out when interviewing it is easier to let the conversation flow rather than sticking to the script. So far we have filmed two interviews, but the next step is editing and filming other interviews as well
